A system upgrade presents the ideal opportunity to evaluate workflows to ensure the new functionality is fully leveraged to streamline practice and clinical operations. CHS can serve key roles on a client's upgrade team, including project management, workflow gap analysis, application design/build, integration testing, end-user training and go-live support.
Revenue Cycle Enhancement
Management of the revenue cycle is essential to increase the first-time acceptance of claims by reviewing and benchmarking performance metrics, analyzing denial patterns and identifying training needs for staff. The CHS Revenue Cycle Assessment methodology includes a comprehensive review of organizational infrastructure, workflows and practice management system setup to determine their effectiveness in supporting revenue cycle best practices and recommendations for improvement. CHS consultants analyze current organizational performance against industry benchmarks (MGMA, UHC, CHS' collective experience) and implement new revenue cycle performance metrics (CHS Key Performance Indicators) which our clients use to more effectively manage revenue cycle performance. CHS consultants use report writing to extract meaningful data that explains the status of your healthcare organization. In addition to providing reports, consultants can develop interfaces including data conversion interfaces and write changes to programming code.
