Rob Culbert

Rob founded Culbert Healthcare Solutions after twenty years of healthcare information technology experience. Rob began his career at IDX serving large health systems and academic medical centers and his areas of responsibility included programming, Western Region Programming Manager, Eastern Region Customer Support Manager and finally Western Regional Manager for Customer Support and Implementations. For the past eleven years Rob served a number of the largest healthcare organizations in the country delivering and marketing Clinical and Financial Systems Implementation, Revenue Cycle Improvement, Interim Staffing for Practice Management, Billing Operations and Information Technology.

Brad has over twenty years of experience working with entrepreneurial companies to develop and deliver IT and consulting solutions throughout the healthcare industry. Brad provides executive sponsorship of IT strategy and operational transformation engagements to provider organizations, leads due diligence and advisory services for private equity investors, and manages the firm’s business development efforts. As President of Culbert, Brad leads growth strategy, service line development, and serves as a trusted advisor for client executives.

 Alan Worsham

Alan Worsham has spent more than thirty (30) years in healthcare with a passion for helping clinicians, operational leaders and information technology professionals work in concert to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Alan has spent a large part of his career in academic medical centers where he held executive roles in IT and led enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives. As a consultant, he has used his deep expertise in physician practice management, operations and technology to assist healthcare organizations across the country. Prior to joining Culbert, Alan was an Executive Director with Sutter Health responsible for Sutter Community Connect, a SaaS-model, Epic-based, electronic health record and practice management suite.

 Kiera O’Neil

Kiera brings over 25 years’ experience in Healthcare Information Technology to Culbert. She spent the majority of her career at GE Healthcare / IDX supporting a diverse customer base, developing innovative training programs, and leading an education team. After leaving GE, Kiera worked at Boston Medical Center providing both system and revenue cycle expertise to the organization during and after a GE system implementation. Kiera leads the GE/Allscripts consultant team.

David Francis

David Francis, MHA is Senior Vice President (SVP) of Management Consulting Services at Culbert Healthcare Solutions. David brings more than 25 years of Healthcare Leadership experience spanning clinical operations, practice management strategy, and revenue cycle operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for the growth and delivery of Culbert’s management consulting suite of services which includes patient access transformation, revenue cycle advisory and, interim management.

Before joining Culbert, Mr. Francis most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Steward Medical Group (SMG) at Steward Health Systems, the nation’s largest privately held integrated health system. In this role, David oversaw more than 400 physician practices with over 2,000 employed providers across 12 states, who generated in excess of $740M in net patient revenue. David’s responsibilities included quality performance, which landed Steward as the #2 ranked Accountable Care Organization in the country. Prior to SMG, David held positions at Steward as Vice President of Practice Management and SVP of the Physicians Organization at Care New England in Providence, RI, and Director of Billing Operations, Compliance, and Desktop Support at Brigham and Women’s Physician Organization.

Mr. Francis completed his master’s in healthcare administration at Simmons College in Boston. Prior to his experience in the civilian health care sector, David spent eleven years in the United States Coast Guard in health care services treating and supporting active-duty military and their dependents.

Ellen Pastizzo 
VP Consulting Services

Ellen has over 30 years experience in academic physician practice plans and hospital based physician groups. Her background is comprised of leadership roles in revenue cycle, patient access, systems selection, design and implementation and project management. She has extensive experience with GE and Epic. Prior to joining CHS Ellen was the Director of Revenue Cycle Operations at the University of South Florida. She also served as an Associate Executive Director at the University of Connecticut Health Center and created and managed the legacy physician group at Hartford Hospital.

Charlie Brown 
VP Epic Revenue Cycle Consulting Svs

Charles (Charlie) Brown, MBA is Vice President (VP) of Epic Revenue Cycle Consulting Services. Charlie brings more than 30 years of Healthcare Leadership experience from large integrated delivery systems where he has led several Epic implementations and optimization programs. In his new role, he will be responsible for the growth and delivery of our management consulting suite of services which includes revenue cycle optimization, executive advisory services, and interim management. During the last twenty-three years, Mr. Brown has held system-wide revenue cycle leadership roles at organizations including MultiCare, University of Washington, University of Chicago, and Tower Health. He focused on improving culture, workflows, and implementing new technology as he integrated the hospital and physician revenue cycles to optimize performance. Charlie has led Epic revenue cycle implementation and optimization strategies throughout his career inclusive of full-scale multi-hospital implementations to multi-practice provider sites. Mr. Brown completed his Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Washington and his Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Wyoming. He is active in HFMA and has served as a Chapter President.

Dean Rapoza 
VP - Consulting Services

Dean has over 30 years of executive leadership experience in academic practice and hospital settings.

Prior to joining Culbert in 2017, for nearly two decades he served as President of Connecticut Children’s Specialty Group (CCSG), a subsidiary of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center (CCMC). Under his leadership, CCSG grew more than six-fold. He led CCSG’s integration as a wholly owned subsidiary into CCMC, improving strategic and operational alignment. Dean also internalized the revenue cycle function, resulting in a $3M annual revenue improvement. As SVP Marketing and Business Development at CCMC, he drove 40%+ growth in regional inpatient market share by establishing a new partnership with a hospital system.

Dean served as a Board Director for the Child Health Development Institute and the Association of Administrators in Academic Pediatrics (AAAP).

Dean holds a Master of Business Administration with concentration in Health Care Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society from Brown University.

 JoAnne Bogert
Controller

JoAnne joined Culbert Healthcare in April of 2020 with over 15 years of accounting experience. She leads the day to day financial operations of the Company, and is also responsible for cash management, forecasting, financial projections, and budget planning. JoAnne works closely with our Senior Management team and Project Managers to assist with proposals and vendor contracts. JoAnne has both public accounting and private industry experience. She started her career working as an auditor for regional CPA firms in upstate NY and the Boston area. She worked on both public and private engagements while being exposed to many different industries. When JoAnne is not with her Culbert family she enjoys time spent boating or at the beach with her husband and two girls.

Tim Bagg 
Dir Talent Acquisition & Admin

Tim has over 20 years of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management experience working for national staffing firms, software development companies and consulting services companies. The last 15 years have been dedicated building teams for EHR implementation and optimization. Tim joined Culbert in December 2020 to oversee recruitment, retention and growth strategy across Culbert service lines with the Executive Team. He’s integral in introducing candidates into the Culbert Culture and maintaining a positive candidate experience. More recently Tim has taken on HR Administration to include overseeing onboarding, benefits enrollment, retention and annual reviews. When Tim’s not introducing new hires to Culbert, he enjoys being outside with his wife and daughter and spending time with extended family.
